The story
Built by an owner who was being run by his own restaurant.
Koncierz was founded by a former restaurant owner who realized the business was running him instead of the other way around — and that the third-party services meant to help were quietly eroding his profits. Every reservation tool, ordering portal, loyalty program and marketing add-on came with its own fee, its own login, and its own cut of the check.
The response was to build the whole thing once and give it away: a single platform that covers front of house, back of house and the customer relationship, offered free so that operators keep the margin instead of renting it back.
Why it matters
The independent restaurant's real problem isn't software
